Line Maintenance

Line Maintenance keeps customer aircraft flying between scheduled checks. The team performs daily inspections, flight servicing, defect rectification, minor scheduled tasks and turnarounds at Archerfield and Sunshine Coast, working to the customer flying program and certifying every task before release.

Base Maintenance and Structures

Base Maintenance and Structures carries out scheduled inspections, heavy checks, structural repairs, corrosion treatment and modifications in the Archerfield hangar. The team plans each input with Planning, works from task cards and approved data, and manages independent inspections on flight critical systems.

Avionics and Electrical

Avionics and Electrical inspects, tests, troubleshoots and repairs aircraft electrical, instrument, communication, navigation and autopilot systems. The team supports line and base maintenance, performs avionics installations and upgrades, and runs the Toowoomba workshop for bench testing and repair of removed units.

Component and Engine Workshop

The Component and Engine Workshop overhauls piston engines, repairs propellers and accessories, maintains hydraulic and pneumatic components and performs non-destructive testing. Every unit is worked to the manufacturer's data, tested, tagged serviceable and released with traceable documentation.

Maintenance Planning, Stores and Technical Records

Maintenance Planning, Stores and Technical Records plans check inputs, tracks airworthiness directives and life limited parts, receives and controls parts in the bonded store, issues work packs and keeps the aircraft and component records that prove airworthiness.

Quality, Safety and Training

Quality, Safety and Training maintains the maintenance organisation exposition and procedures, runs the safety management system, investigates occurrences and maintenance errors, audits departments, manages personnel authorisations and delivers human factors, fatigue and type training to the technical workforce.
