Avionics and Electrical
Avionics and Electrical inspects, tests, troubleshoots and repairs aircraft electrical, instrument, communication, navigation and autopilot systems. The team supports line and base maintenance, performs avionics installations and upgrades, and runs the Toowoomba workshop for bench testing and repair of removed units.

Ahmed Farouk
Ahmed leads avionics troubleshooting, installations and the Toowoomba bench and has held an avionics licence for fifteen years, eight of them at AeroTech.

Aircraft Work Orders
The register of line and base maintenance work orders and check inputs for every customer aircraft with their status and certifying engineer.
Defect and Deferred Defect Log
The log of pilot reported and maintenance found defects, their assessment, rectification and any deferral limits.
Tool Control and Calibration Register
The register of special tools, ground equipment and measuring and test equipment with calibration status, location and loan records.
