The situation

What has happened

Northern Aeromedical Services need their turboprop VH-NAM back on line by 19 September for patient transfers. The phase inspection under WO-26-1176 is stalled awaiting an elevator trim tab hinge, the propeller hub has been removed for an airworthiness directive inspection in the component workshop, and several airworthiness directive and service bulletin items remain in the work pack. A torque wrench needed for the propeller installation is due for calibration on 14 September, one engineer's authorisation on the type expires in October, and the aircraft requires an independent inspection on the trim system. Ruth Kaminski wants a completion plan, an allocation of authorised engineers and a certification package ready for release.

Your brief. Plan and sequence the remaining tasks of the phase inspection around parts, tooling and personnel constraints, verify the airworthiness directive and service bulletin status, allocate authorised engineers, prepare the certification and records package and brief the supervisors on the plan and its risks.

What to look for

Evidence guide

The plan must show every outstanding item traced from the work pack, constraints from parts, tooling and authorisations identified from the registers, and a realistic sequence that respects fatigue limits. The certification checklist must reflect the procedure. Look for a fallback if the part is late and a brief that gives the supervisors clear decisions rather than a list of problems.

The student's evidence summary lists every record they created or changed in the systems named above, their notes and the tasks they ticked. Verify it against the deliverables and your own assessment tool.
